April 1, 2011 - Butternut
Farm GC recently experienced suspected nuclear fallout from Japan. Rather than lament the change in grass
color from green to white, BFGC is instead marketing its new line of red golf balls. Tom Damon
was first in line to purchase the new balls!

Next Time, Ask For Directions!
June 15, 2011 - This was either the arrival of a
2012 luxury golf cart or a hole-in-one grand prize for the next day's tournament. A silver four-door sedan moved
along the cart path between the practice and 9th greens going towards the 1st tee. It soon became obvious that
someone was very lost! Our intrepid bartender shot out from the clubhouse to catch up with the vandals. The elderly driver
was impressed with the error of her ways and calmly changed direction, at the end of a 15-point turn, to drive
off into the sunset.

September
7, 2011 - Peter Dee and Fran Dee won our 2011 League

Flynn. The match was played in dismal weather conditions (rain and mist in the mid-60s). The championship
was still in question going into the 16th hole.
Congratulations
