The Brass Balls Challenge Cup |
The "Brass Balls" Golf Scramble Challenge
This 27-hole competition includes 9-hole rounds in April, June and September.
The entire league is split into two main sides. Two-man teams are placed on sides using league handicaps and compete as two-man
scramble teams in representing their main sides. The top two two-man scores versus par from each side are used
for each round. One point is awarded to the winning side for Round 1 and 2 each
and two points are awarded for Round 3. The side with the best point total
over the three rounds receives 100 percent of the prize fund. An overall tie in this inaugural event
may split the money or may be broken with a putting contest at the end of Round 3. During
the final ceremony, individual golfers from both sides will each be given
brass-colored inscribed golf balls from the Brass Balls Challenge Cup as well
as Brass Balls Golf hats to retain as keepsakes.
